STERLING SILVER BROOCH PIN, “THE CROSSING”..........$325.00
This large sterling silver pin measures 2 ½” X 1 ¾” and is
3/8” thick. It features a bold 25mm x 30mm oval shaped agate
cabachon and an 8mm round labradorite cabachon. This is a
one-of-a-kind, hand constructed pin. It has a hand hammered
surface, a bit of 10k rose gold, and hand engraving.
A running creature is pierced out in the panel above the agate.
The agate has a pattern that resembles a paw print in the snow.
The shimmering character of the labradorite gemstone adds a
moon-like element. There is a quality locking pin mechanism
on the backside. This is a rather large pin, weighing about 1oz
...not my usual delicate work.

Inspiration for this design:
“The Crossing” is about the idea of animals and people crossing
over into the North American Continent thousands of years ago.
It is my believe that perhaps an animal…or animal tracks first
led hunters across the frozen land bridge into a new land.
